YOUPECO'2015
The Young People’s Leisure Network(YPLN) grew from the Young Peoples’ Book on Leisure project, during which young people met, discussed the situation of leisure in different countries and presented their views on future developments. The network includes different universities and students, who are commited to continue the process.
Once the the book was finalised, the young people decided to develop new projects offering international opportunities for interested people. It was decided to focus on the talents of young people from a music or creative perspective to meet and develop leisure around the world. Listening music and going to concerts is one of the most favourite leisure activities for young people, so an international youth concert was proposed. It was believed that young people needed a platform to exhibit their skills. This call is extended to more than 10 countries within the Young People’s Leisure Network to register for a participation in the project.

MOCKERS/ROUEN FRANCE

Brought together in 2011 thanks to their love for rock music, The Mockers quickly turned to composition in order to find their own musical identity. Led by the soft and melodious voice of their singer, the band went for the lively and biting sound of pop-rock, all mixed with the warmth of folk music. The chemistry between the members and the undeniably relaxed atmosphere reigning in the band results in an unrelenting energy that sweeps their audience : these French musicians have run quite a few gigs (The Animaijuin festival, the Rock'n'Aubette Festival, The Crooner...), and ask for nothing less than to keep sharing their love of music with anyone willing to !
