Welcome to the Young People's Leisure Network!

The Young People’s Leisure Network(YPLN) grew from the World Leisure Future Leaders project to meet, and discuss regularly on the situation of leisure in different countries and present young people's views on future developments. The network involve different universities and students, who are commited to be a part of this creative network.

In 2012 in Rimini at the World Leisure Congress young people decided to develop new projects offering international opportunities for interested people. It was decided to focus on the youth talents from creative perspective to meet and develop leisure around the world.

YPLN has a close cooperation with World Leisure Organization and tries to support all WLO intiatives.

Beside this YPLN has developed its own projects to support young people to become active in leisure development.

This time YPLN has national coordinators in 16 countries around the world.

FAMILY EXCHANGE PROGRAM

YPLN is seeking for a new youth coordinator position. The successful applicant will replace Fernando Palanza's position who has been participating and organizing in many international youth exchange programs and took part in YPBOL camps. The youth coordinator (volunteer position) will work in an international youth team to develop projects around the world, such as youth exchanges, youth performances, talent management, youth reserach and publication. World Leisure Congress 2016 in Durban has been organized successfully. Volunteers from South Africa, Australia, Hungary and UK helped to host the delegates and forming an atmosphere, in which everybody felt comfortable. YPLN thanks to all organizer especially Mrs. Maliga Naidoo for their excellent work. All YPLN members enjoyed South Africa very much .
